Men's Basketball Game at Maine Rescheduled to Jan. 4
December 22, 2009 | Men's Basketball
PRINCETON -- After a snow storm kept Princeton local over the weekend and forced postponement of last Saturday's game at Maine, men's basketball coach Sydney Johnson has announced that the Tigers and Black Bears will reschedule for Monday, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.
It will be Princeton's first game in the Pine Tree State after the teams began the series in November 2008 in Jadwin Gym, a 58-55 overtime win for Maine.
The rescheduling creates a busy week for Princeton, which will now have four games in eight days from Dec. 30 to Jan. 6. Princeton will host Wagner next Wednesday night, Dec. 30, before traveling to Saint Joseph's on Jan. 2, Maine on Jan. 4 and Marist on Jan. 6. The annual finals break will follow with Princeton taking 17 days away from competition.
