Princeton to Visit National Champion Duke Nov. 14 in CBE
July 08, 2010 | Men's Basketball
The Tigers will travel to Duke, the defending national champions, to start a four-game participation in the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic tournament on Nov. 14.
Princeton finished 22-9 a year ago and made the postseason for the first time since 2004, winning two games in the College Basketball Invitational to advance to the event's semifinals.
Later in November, Princeton will play three games at either Miami University in Ohio or James Madison to complete the CBE event.
Duke has been a fairly regular non-league opponent for the Tigers in recent years. The last meeting came on Nov. 19, 2007 at the Maui Invitational, and the two teams have met four times in the last 10 seasons.
The visit will be Princeton's ninth to Cameron Indoor Stadium, which it helped open on Jan. 6, 1940, and first since Jan. 5, 2005.
The rest of Princeton's 2010-11 schedule is still being finalized and will be announced in the coming weeks.
