Davis' Buzzer-Beater Makes ESPYs Top-10 Plays

The jumper Douglas Davis hit from just inside the arc in the Ivy League men's basketball playoff game has lived on since its March 12 occurrence, most recently being recognized as the No. 7 play of the year at ESPN's ESPY awards on July 13.
The shot, which came on an under-the-basket inbounds play that began with 2.3 seconds left, propelled Princeton to a 63-62 win over Harvard to claim the automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Tournament, Princeton's Ivy-best 24th appearance all-time.
Davis is a rising senior at Princeton and has 1,110 points in his career, good for 15th in program history. During the 2010-11 season, Davis became the first junior since Kit Mueller '91 to reach 1,000 points.
