Princeton Track & Field Represents at 2012 Olympic Trials

Several members of the Princeton track & field programs will be competing at the 2012 US Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. The trials begin today and conclude on July 1st. Five current and former athletes have already qualified, while five others are provisionally qualifying and their status is pending.
Tora Harris '02 who was on the Olympic team in 2004 will compete in the high jump. Justin Frick '10 is provisionally qualified in the same event. The national champion in the steeplechase Donn Cabral '12 will vie for a place on the team in the event. Joe Stilin '12 and Trevor Van Ackeren '12 await approval to see if they will compete in the 1500. Stilin is also pending in the 5,000.
On the women's side, Greta Feldman '13 is the only current Tiger competing in the trials. She will run in the 1500. Alums Ashley Higginson '11 and Liz Costello '10 will race in the steeplechase and 10,000, respectively. Carrie Dimoff '06 is provisionally qualified in the steeplechase and awaits her fate.
