Men's Basketball Embarks on Trip to Spain

During the trip, the team will play four games against Spanish professional teams and sightsee in their host cities.
After arriving in Barcelona Thursday, the travel party will visit local sights, including a Friday visit to the Antoni Gaudi-designed Sagrada Familia church followed by a game against Spanish first-division team Assignia Manresa.
Saturday, Sept. 1 will bring another opportunity to sightsee in Barcelona, with a Spanish flamenco musical show on the itinerary. Sunday, Princeton will have a game against second-division team CB Prat, followed by an FC Barcelona soccer game against Valencia at the 99,000-seat Camp Nou stadium.
Monday, Sept. 3, the Tigers will head south along the Mediterranean coast to Valencia with a stop in the seaside town of Cambrils. Tuesday, Princeton will play its third game, facing the second-division team Lucentum Alicante.
Wednesday, Sept. 5, the Tigers will move west to Madrid. The team's final game is scheduled for Thursday against second-division team Melilla, and Friday the Tigers will see the more than 250-year-old Royal Palace. Following a Saturday trip to the Prado Museum, which contains artifacts dating as far back as the 12th century, Princeton will head home Sunday, Sept. 9.
