Henderson to Visit NASDAQ With Coaches Versus Cancer
January 25, 2013 | Men's Basketball
Mitch Henderson '98, the Franklin C. Cappon-Edward G. Green '40 head coach of Princeton men's basketball, will head to New York City Monday to participate in a Coaches vs. Cancer event with other New York City-area coaches.
Among the highlights of Henderson's visit will be his participation in ringing the NASDAQ closing bell at the exchange's headquarters in Times Square. It will be Henderson's second trip to New York with the Coaches vs. Cancer group since his tenure began at Princeton in 2011, also ringing the NASDAQ bell and visiting Yankee Stadium with other head coaches.
On campus, Henderson and the Tigers are preparing to end the two-week finals break with Sunday's 2 p.m. game against TCNJ. The contest will come during the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Awareness Weekend, putting the Princeton staff in their sneakers during the game.
The Tigers will resume Ivy League play next Friday, Feb. 1 with a visit from Cornell.
