Geriot Joins Staff at Campbell University, Reunites With Former Coach
April 26, 2013 | Men's Basketball
Princeton assistant coach Dan Geriot, who has served on Mitch Henderson's staff the last two seasons, has joined his former coach Kevin McGeehan at Campbell University in North Carolina as an assistant coach.
Geriot and the Princeton staff had back-to-back double-digit win seasons in the Ivy League and won 37 games overall during the last two campaigns.
McGeehan was announced as Campbell's head coach on April 11 and has a longtime connection with Princeton alum Chris Mooney '94, the head coach at Richmond, where Geriot played. McGeehan began working with Mooney, both Philadelphia-area natives, at Beaver College in 1998 and was an assistant on Mooney's staff at Air Force and at Richmond. McGeehan was Geriot's head coach in high school for two seasons at Springfield (Pa.) High before going to Air Force to work under Mooney.
The Camels, who play in the Big South Conference, finished third in the North Division of that league last season, going 13-20 overall and 7-9 in the conference.
