| Ten Princeton Women's Soccer Facts |
• Head coach Julie Shackford enters her 19th season at the helm in 2013-14. She has been the coach for more than half of the program's varsity tenure and has a program-record 189 victories.
• Jen Hoy '13 won the program's seventh Ivy League Player of the Year honor, doing so with an 18-goal season in 2012.
• Esmeralda Negron '05, now an assistant coach, has had a hand in four of the team's last five Ivy League titles. She also holds the program records for goals in a career (47), season (20), and points in a career (112) and season (52).
• Princeton has played in the NCAA tournament 10 times since its first appearance in 1982. Eight of those appearances have come since 1999, including last season.
• Princeton has recorded NCAA tournament wins in four campaigns, in 1982, 2001, 2004 and 2012.
• Princeton advanced to the NCAA College Cup in 2004, taking down Central Connecticut State, Boston College, Villanova and Washington on their way to the national semifinal.
• Princeton's original home field was Lourie-Love Field, and the program still plays on the site today. Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium opened in 2008, and the complex includes the turf Plummer Field practice facility.
• Princeton has won seven Ivy League championships, including 7-0-0 campaigns in 2004 and 2012. Princeton has two of the five 7-0-0 seasons in Ivy League history.
• Princeton has had 14 NSCAA All-America honorees, most recently Jen Hoy in 2012, a second-team pick.
• One of the most accomplished players in program history was Diana Matheson '08, who is the program's career assist leader and who scored the bronze-winning goal for Canada in the 2012 Olympics.
