| Of the four Ivy League women's soccer games over the weekend, three ended in ties. Princeton's game Saturday night against Dartmouth was not the exception, as the Tigers had the only goal of the second half on the way to a 2-2 draw with the Big Green on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium. Dartmouth scored first in the 13th minute when Corey Delaney knocked in an end-line pass from Lindsay Knutson, but Princeton answered on Tyler Lussi's penalty-kick goal in the 23rd minute after Liana Cornacchio was tripped up in the 18-yard box. Dartmouth took a 2-1 lead in the 36th minute when Jessica Lukas weaved her way up the left side of the field and found Tasha Wilkins cutting to the goal. That's how it stayed until the 62nd minute, when Mikaela Symanovich sent a ball up to Natalie Larkin high in the left corner and Larkin perfectly timed a pass to Lussi on the goal line for Lussi's second goal of the night. Princeton had to play the final 13:19 of overtime with 10 players after Gabrielle Ragazzo received her second yellow card of the game on a foul just outside the 18-yard box in the 97th minute. Dartmouth's try on that free kick went into the Princeton wall, and the Tigers, despite continuing to press with 10 players on the field, held on for the draw. No team in the Ivy was able to win its first two games, leaving Harvard, Columbia and Princeton all tied atop the league at 1-0-1 with four standings points. |

| • Tyler Lussi's two-goal game was the fourth of the sophomore's career. She scored twice in a game on three occasions last season. • Lussi's two goals evened her with senior Lauren Lazo to co-lead the team with four on the season. • This was just the second tie in the 34-game history of the Princeton-Dartmouth series. The other occurred in 1985 in Hanover. • The last 10 games in the series with Dartmouth have each been decided by no more than two goals. • Mikaela Symanovich's assist on Tyler Lussi's second goal gave Symanovich the first point of her Princeton career. She's the fifth Princeton freshman to score a point this season. • Darcy Hargadon started the game after leaving last Saturday's game at Yale in the eighth minute due to injury. Hargadon played the full 110 against Dartmouth. • Coupled with a penalty kick at La Salle, the PK against Dartmouth marked the first time since 2007 that Princeton has had at least two penalty kicks in a season. Lussi became the first non-senior to make a PK for Princeton since Diana Matheson '08 in 2006. The last four Princeton PK goals were scored by seniors. • The four goals scored were the most in a Princeton-Dartmouth game since 2004, when the teams combined to score five in a 4-1 Big Green win. |
