• Princeton and Lafayette have played annually since the 1990-91 season, Princeton's longest currently active annual series. The teams played in Princeton's first season of 1900-01 and have played 66 times in all. Since 1990-91, Princeton leads the series 17-7.
• Lafayette is the alma mater of Pete Carril, Princeton's Naismith Hall of Fame head coach, who is a 1952 alumnus. He began his collegiate coaching career with his alma mater's rival, Lehigh, for one season in 1966-67 before taking over for Butch van Breda Kolff '45 at Princeton and leading the Tigers to 514 victories over 29 seasons, including 13 Ivy League titles and 11 NCAA Tournaments.
• Last season's meeting with Lafayette went to overtime, where the Tigers prevailed 81-80. The Leopards shot 58.3 percent from the field, better than Princeton's 45.2 percent, but the Tigers' 12 3-pointers helped, as did committing nine turnovers to Lafayette's 15. While all 80 of Lafayette's points are back, led by 27 from Seth Hinrichs, Princeton returns just 38 of 81 if Denton Koon's nine points (injured) aren't included. Will Barrett '14 led the team with 22.
• Over the first two games last season, 147 of 400 minutes went to freshmen and sophomores for the Tigers. Over the first two games this season, 224 of 400 minutes have gone to freshmen and sophomores.
• Princeton has an .811 free throw percentage through two games. The team has free throw percentage records available through the 1947-48 season, and the best season on record was in 1987-88, when Princeton went 313 of 402 from the stripe for a .779 clip.
• Princeton has an even assist-to-turnover ratio on the season at 26 apiece, and Steven Cook has done all he can to make it positive, chipping in eight helpers without a single giveaway so far.
• Princeton's opponents have outshot the Tigers from the field .438 to .384 so far. The last time a season ended with Princeton allowing a clip of at least .438 from the field was the 2007-08 campaign, when the Tigers' foes shot .468.
• Princeton's second halves have produced 77 points while its first halves have produced 47.
• Thanks in large part to Princeton going 17-20 from the line to Rider's 2-4 in the opener, Princeton has made more FTs than its opponents have attempted, 30-24.
• Hans Brase and Spencer Weisz have each scored in double figures in each of the first two games. Princeton hasn't had two teammates hit double figures in each of the first three games since the 2011-12 season, when Douglas Davis '12 and Ian Hummer '13 did so.
• Seven Tigers (Hans Brase, Spencer Weisz, Steven Cook, Pete Miller, Ben Hazel, Clay Wilson, Amir Bell) have accounted for all of the team's points and 95 percent of the team's minutes. Six of those players, all except Miller, have hit at least one 3-pointer over the first two games.
• Princeton enters the season returning 56 percent of its points from a year ago after losing four seniors: T.J. Bray (18.0 ppg in 2013-14), Will Barrett (10.3 ppg), Jimmy Sherburne (4.3 ppg) and Chris Clement (2.7 ppg). That group accounted for nearly 40 percent of the team's minutes.
• In Will Barrett and T.J. Bray, Princeton graduated its top two 3-point scorers. Combined, the pair had 115 of the team's 278 3-point buckets. Princeton returns 51 percent of its 3-pointers from a year ago, with Spencer Weisz and Hans Brase co-leading the returners with 34 apiece.
• Princeton's 70.6 ppg average from 2013-14 and its 64.4 ppg allowed were both the team's most since the 1971-72 season.
• Princeton coach Mitch Henderson is presently ninth on the program's all-time wins list, but he could move up to seventh by midseason. He's now at 59 wins, behind predecessor Sydney Johnson (66) and John Thompson III (68). Both are fellow Tiger alumni, Johnson (head coach from 2007-11) in the Class of 1997 and Thompson (head coach from 2000-04) in the Class of 1988.
• Princeton is aiming to complete a weekend sweep of George Mason on behalf of the Ivy League, which saw Cornell beat the Patriots 68-60 Friday night in the Patriot Center.
• Of Princeton's 150 starts last season, 82 went to non-seniors.
• Last season's 278 3-pointers bettered the previous program record of 265, set in Mitch Henderson's senior year of 1997-98.
• In 58 Ivy League seasons, Princeton has posted 52 winning Ivy seasons, four 7-7 finishes and just two losing records.
• Mitch Henderson is trying to become the first Princeton coach since John Thompson III '88 (Princeton coach 2000-04) to have winning campaigns in each of his first four seasons as Princeton coach. Henderson would be the sixth Princeton coach to do so (Leuhring, Van Breda Kolff, Carril, Carmody, Thompson).
• Princeton closed last season with two national top-10 statistical rankings. The Tigers were No. 7 in fewest fouls (508) and fourth in 3-pointers per game (9.3).
• The Leopards opened the season with a trip to Robert Morris and West Virginia with 27 points as the margin each time. The Leopards defeated RMU before their Big 12 foes from Morgantown won Sunday.
• Lafayette was picked fourth in the Patriot League behind American, Army and Holy Cross.
• The Leopards were streaky last season on the way to an 11-20 finish, losing their first four games before winning the next four, losing 11 and then winning 7 of 11 to close the season.
• Lafayette returns every player who scored a point last season, including five with double-figure averages in Seth Hinrichs (16.4 ppg), Dan Trist (12.8 ppg), Bryce Scott (11.5 ppg), Joey Ptasinski (11.4 ppg) and Nick Lindner (10.8 ppg). Three of those four - Lindner, Hinrichs and Trist - are averaging double figures after the first two games this season.
• Lafayette has outshot opponents .474 to .331 from the field this season while taking 38 fewer shots. The Leopards outshot Robert Morris 51 percent to 25 percent and outshot WVU 43.5 percent to 38.3 percent, but the Mountaineers were able to outrebound Lafayette 50-31 and have just six turnovers to Lafayette's 20, translating to WVU taking 81 shots to Lafayette's 46.
• Since the Patriot League's first basketball season in 1990-91, seven of the eight pre-expansion Patriot League teams (before the league added Loyola and Boston U last season) had won at least one league title. But since Lafayette's last title in 2000, the automatic bid has been won by only four teams - Holy Cross (four), Lehigh (three), Bucknell (four) and American (three).
• Lafayette coach Fran O'Hanlon is in his 20th season at Lafayette, where he came after spending six years in the Ivy League under Fran Dunphy at Penn.
• Seth Hinrichs was a third-team All-Patriot League honoree last year and Nick Lindner was a league all-rookie honoree.

Mitch Henderson '98 is in his third season as Princeton's head coach. His overall record at Princeton is 59-33.
Under Henderson, Princeton is 31-8 at home, 28-14 in the Ivy League, and 18-3 in the Ivy League at home. Princeton is 46-11 when leading at the half under Henderson.
Henderson is the first Princeton coach since John Thompson III '88 (2000-04) to have winning seasons in each of his first three campaigns. He is the sixth Princeton coach to accomplish that, following Frederick Luehring (1912-20), Butch van Breda Kolff '44 (1962-67), Pete Carril (1967-96), Bill Carmody (1996-2000) and Thompson III '88 (2000-04).
Henderson is in ninth place on the Princeton all-time wins list, with predecessor Sydney Johnson '97 in eighth with 66 wins over four seasons.
Henderson was a second-team All-Ivy Leaguer in 1998, an honorable mention All-Ivy Leaguer in 1997, and was a two-time Ivy Rookie of the Week in 1994-95.
Henderson graduated as the fourth-leading assist man in program history (kept since 1974-75) and is now sixth, having been surpassed by two of his players, Ian Hummer '13 and T.J. Bray '14. Henderson graduated fifth in career steals (kept since 1974-75) and is now ninth, having been passed by former teammate Gabe Lewullis '99, current San Diego Padre Will Venable '05, Marcus Schroeder '10 and his former player T.J. Bray '14.
Henderson is one of six Princeton alumni who are current Division I head coaches, including John Thompson III '88 (Georgetown), Joe Scott '87 (Denver), Mike Brennan '94 (American), Chris Mooney '94 (Richmond) and Sydney Johnson '97 (Fairfield).
Prior to Princeton, Henderson coached at Northwestern for 11 seasons under his final head coach at Princeton, Bill Carmody, from 2000-11.
