Vigilante Named Coach of the Year as All Five Scorers Earn All-Ivy

PRINCETON, N.J. (11/4/14) - All five Princeton scorers captured men's cross country All-Ivy League honors and head coach Jason Vigilante was named Coach of the Year it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.
In the inaugural season of selecting a coach of the year, the honor goes to third-year head coach Jason Vigilante. Princeton won its 18th Ivy League Championship, taking home the victory on its home course by a 47-point margin, 30-74.
Four members of the team earned first-team All-Ivy League honors. Junior Michael Sublette earned his first career All-Ivy League honor as Princeton's No. 1 runner in the race. Sublette finished second overall, followed by senior Sam Pons in third. Senior Eddie Owens, who was a second-team selection two years ago, was sixth overall and senior Matt McDonald was seventh.
Princeton's final scorer, junior Sam Berger earned second-team honors for his 12th-place finish.Princeton competes at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional at Penn State on Friday, Nov. 14. The top two teams automatically advance to the NCAA Championships.
