Harvard made its first five field goal tries of the second half and carried that momentum to a 82-76 over Princeton Friday night in Lavietes Pavilion. The loss dropped Princeton to 0-2 in the Ivy League, while Harvard retained control of the conference after sweeping Dartmouth to move to 3-0. |

• Harvard shot .636 in the second half after shooting .483 in the first half. Princeton went the opposite direction, opening the game by shooting .609 from the field before the break and .438 after. The teams went similar directions from distance, as Harvard was 2-7 from 3 in the first half and 4-6 after, while Princeton was 5-9 in the first 20 minutes and 5-17 in the second. • T.J. Bray's (above, left) 26 points bettered his previous career best by one. He had 25 points last month against Portland. Now having played in 3/4 of the team's games, Bray can qualify among the Ivy League's statistical leaders. His point-per-game average entering the weekend would have been second in the league and has now improved to 17.9 ppg, behind only Sean McGonagill's 19.3 ppg for Brown. |
