Men's Basketball Announces Class of 2019
April 08, 2015 | Men's Basketball
Princeton finished the 2014-2015 season strong winning its last four games of the year to finish in third place in the Ivy League. Featuring a starting lineup that included one freshman in Amir Bell, three sophomores with Pete Miller and second-team All-Ivy League selections Steven Cook and Spencer Weisz, and junior Hans Brase, the Tigers finished with a winning record for the sixth straight season. In addition to returning its starting five, Princeton brings back six of its top seven scorers from the past season. As the Tigers begin spring workouts and start to focus on the 2015-16 season, here is a look at the 2019 recruiting class:
| MYLES STEPHENS 6-4 • 190 • Guard Hometown: Lawrenceville, N.J. School: St. Andrew's School (Del.) AAU: NJ Roadrunners/WE R 1 |

Myles Stephens played his freshman and sophomore years at The Pennington School (N.J.) before transferring to St. Andrew's School in Delaware to finish his high school career. Stephens, who missed his senior year of high school due to injury, was a 1,000-point scorer in three seasons of high school basketball. He won a Prep B State Championship at Pennington and is currently the No. 2-ranked player in Delaware by ESPN. Stephens also had a stellar career on the AAU circuit with the NJ Roadrunners until his move to Delaware, where he played with We R 1 on the 17U level.
“We had our eyes on Myles for a long time as he's from Lawrenceville, N.J. He's developed into a very good and highly versatile player. He's played multiple positions through his career, which we really like, and he loves to defend. We believe he will be a dynamic addition to the program. We've made it a priority to land the top student-athlete in the state each year and we believe we have achieved this goal again with Myles.” – Mitch Henderson
| DEVIN CANNADY 6-1 • 180 • Guard Hometown: Mishawaka, Ind. School: Mishawaka Marian (Ind.) AAU: Spiece Indy Heat |

Devin Cannady had an extremely successful senior season leading Marian to an undefeated regular season on his way to becoming the winningest player in Marian history. Cannady, a McDonald's All-American nominee, finished his high school career second on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,475 points. Cannady also was named to the North team for the Indiana All-Star game as well as earning a spot on Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/Subway “Supreme 15” Team, a ranking of the Top 15 players in the state. Cannady had a strong summer with Spiece on the Nike EYBL circuit as well. Cannady scored 11.8 points, grabbed 4.2 rebounds and handed out four assists per game, leading his team to the EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam.
“Devin had a terrific career at Marian. He's got the ability to score in many different ways and I think he may be one of the country's best shooters. He's shown the versatility to be more of a scorer with his high school program and a facilitator with his AAU team. He's got a chance to be a really complete player. Devin comes from a great family and is a hard worker and will be a welcomed addition to the program. We are thrilled to have him in Orange and Black." -- Mitch Henderson

Noah Bramlage finished an illustrious high school career as Ottawa-Glandorf's third-leading scorer all-time with 1,442 points, a total that was good for sixth all-time in Putnam County. Bramlage, a four-year starter, helped lead O-G to four straight regional tournament appearances, two state final appearances and the 2013 Division III state championship. He earned Associated Press Division III first-team All-Northwest Ohio honors twice, and also was a two-time member of the AP Division III All-Ohio second team. Bramlage also was an integral member of the All-Ohio Red AAU program, helping the team to the EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam.
“Bramlage hails from the very powerful All-Ohio Red program where his size and versatility made him a key piece to one of the more successful AAU programs in the country. At around 6-foot-7, Bramlage has the ability to play either forward position. He is a good shooter who is a very tough kid. He will do a little bit of everything to help his team win.” --Brian Snow, Scout.com
“I think Princeton fans will really enjoy watching Noah play. He's a worker and he brings a ton of energy with him every time he steps into the gym. Our staff was impressed every time we evaluated him by how hard he plays and his willingness to do whatever his team needed him to do in order to win. He's got the ability to step away from the basket and make long shots too, which is a staple for our bigger players.” -- Mitch Henderson
