Tigers Look to Build on Streak This Weekend at Union/RPI

EYE ON THE TIGERS
Princeton returned from finals break without missing a beat as it topped Penn State 3-0 on Tuesday. It marks the Tigers' third consecutive shutout as the squad is 5-1-1 since the Christmas break. Overall Princeton is 9-10-4 and 7-8-1 in the the ECAC to sit in seventh place in the standings along with Harvard. Sophomore Stephanie Neatby has not allowed a goal in more than 180 minutes of action, stopping the last 71 shots she has faced. Tuesday was her eighth career shutout. She is in the top top 10 in the nation in both save percentage and goals against average with a 1.85 GAA and a .930 save percentage. The defense ranks fourth in Division I, limited teams to just 1.91 goals per game. Junior Karlie Lund and sophomore Carly Bullock guide the offense, as each has 18 points. Of Bullock's 18 points, 16 have come from goals - the seventh best goals per game average in the nation. Lund has five goals and 13 assists. Senior Kiersten Falck has 15 points and junior defender Stephanie Sucharda has 14 followed by sophomore defender Claire Thompson's 12 points and junior Keiko DeClerck's 10.
SCOUTING THE DUTCHWOMEN
Union is 7-17-4 on the season and with a 5-10-1 ECAC record is in 10th place in the standings. Last weekend, the team split its series with travel partner Rensselaer with matching 2-1 decisions. Sophomores Katelynn Russ and Cheyenne Harris sit atop the scoring column with 18 points apiece. Russ has scored 12 goals and adds six assists, while Harris has five goals and 13 helpers. Defenders Arianna Kosakowski and Caitlyn McLaren follow with 16 points apiece. Freshman Coco Francis has started in 19 games, has a 6-11-2 record, a .923 save percentage and a 2.77 GAA. Sophomore Kate Spooner is 1-4-1 in her six starts with an .873 save percentage and a 4.65 GAA.
THE PRINCETON/UNION SERIES
Princeton looks to make it eight straight wins over Union as the Tigers hold a big 27-1-1 advantage in the series. Earlier this year Princeton earned a 3-0 win with Alysia DaSilva grabbing the win in net and two defenders scoring goals.
SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
Rensselaer is 8-15-5 overall and 5-9-2 in the ECAC to sit in ninth place in the league standings. A 2-1 win over Union on Saturday snapped a nine-game losing skid that including eight losses. Junior Jaimie Grigsby and senior Shayna Tomlinson are the team's leading scorers. Grigsby has 17 points on eight goals and nine assists while Tomlinson has five goals and 11 helpers. Sophomore Sabrini Repaci chips in 13 points while junior Makenna Thomas and senior defender Whitney Renn add 10 apiece. Junior Lovisa Selander has started in all but two games and has a .932 save percentage and a 2.22 GAA.
THE PRINCETON/RENSSELAER SERIES
Princeton has a 13-7-5 advantage in the all-time series with Rensselaer since they first met in 2006. The Engineers took a 2-1 game back in November to halt the Tigers four-game unbeaten streak in the series. Rensselaer has never swept Princeton in the regular-season.
