32 Princeton Rowers Claim IRA All-Academic Honors

More honors are coming for the Princeton rowing programs, who just finished a highly successful postseason. A total of 32 Princeton rowers from either the heavyweight rowing team, the men's lightweight rowing team, or the women's lightweight rowing team, earned IRA All-Academic honors.
The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Board of Stewards recently announced the All-Academic Team for the 2017-18 academic year. To be eligible for recognition a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35 or higher, completed one full year at their institution (freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible), be an institutional letter winner and also competed at the 2018 IRA National Championship Regatta.
The heavyweights, which sent both its 1V and 2V to the IRA grand finals, led the way with 14 All-Academic rowers: Seb Benzercry, William Chance, Matthew Doyle, Ralph Elsegood, Ryan Hutzley, Micaela Keller, John Killeen, Christopher Lawrie, Andrew LeRoux, Brandon Levy, Jonny Naylor, Jim Palmer, Nina Sola, and Augustin Wambersie.
The women's lightweights, who won medals at both Sprints and IRAs for the second straight season, earned 10 All-Academic honors: Sandra Carpenter, Grace Cordsen, Georgia Hellard Timm, Emma Hopkins, Heather Milke, Megan Mirabella, Kathleen Noble, Madelynn Prendergast, Emily Schneider, and Madeline Travnik.
The men's lightweights, who finished with silver medals at both the Sprints and IRA Championships, finished with eight All-Academic honors: Jordi Cabanas, Daniel Hogan, Greg Kernisan, Charles Kwitchoff, Blake Lange, James Sincavage, Adam Teece, and Tyler Valicenti.
