Rankings: Princeton kept a top-30 RPI after Saturday's tie against Dartmouth, 62 spots ahead of the next-highest Ivy team, Yale.Â
Against Bucknell: Princeton is 7-1-1 all-time against the Bison and 4-0-1 in Princeton. After not having played since 2008, the teams resumed the series in 2016 with a 1-1 tie at Roberts Stadium before a 4-0 Tiger win last year. In the 2016 game, Natalie Grossi played in goal for the Tigers, making two saves. Mimi Asom tied it up in the 80th minute. In the 2017 game, Grossi made four saves for the shutout while the Tigers' four goals came against Dani Kaufman, who is back with the Bison this year but has played only against Saint Joseph's on Sept. 9. The four goals came from four Tigers, all of whom are back with the team this year in Asom, Abby Givens, Courtney O'Brien and Olivia Kane.Â
Milestone & record watch: Mimi Asom is now fourth on Princeton's all-time career goal list with 40, behind Linda DeBoer '86 (41), Esmeralda Negron '05 (47) and Tyler Lussi '17 (53). She's fifth on the career points list with 88, behind Emily Behncke '06 (90), DeBoer (94), Negron (112) and Lussi (122). Natalie Grossi is third on the career shutout list, with 21, and behind only Jordan Rettig '01 (22) and Kelly O'Dell '84 (23). The Ivy record is 29, held by 2001 Dartmouth alum Kristin Luckenbill. Sean Driscoll has 46 wins, good for third on Princeton's list. The program's first coach, Bob Malekoff (1980-84) is second at 52, with predecessor Julie Shackford (1995-2014) first at 203.
Stat rankings: Princeton ranks eighth in shutout percentage, getting the clean sheet in 70 percent of games, 19th in save percentage at .867, and 27th in GAA (0.573). Mimi Asom ranks eighth in goals per game at 0.9, 10th in total goals at nine, 14th in shots per game at 4.7, and 24th in points per game at 1.8. On Bucknell: The Tigers and Bison have played two of the same opponents so far this year in Hofstra and Saint Joseph's. Princeton beat Hofstra 2-0 on Sept. 9 at Plummer Field and beat Saint Joseph's 3-0 on Aug. 31 at Myslik Field. The Bison lost to Hofstra 1-0 in the season opener on Aug. 17 in Lewisburg and lost at Saint Joseph's 5-1 on Sept. 9 in Philadelphia. The Bison have won three straight since a 2-6-1 start that included both of those games, defeating league opponents in American, Loyola and Holy Cross heading into what is also Bucknell's final non-league game. Eight players have scored for the team and five of those have one goal apiece. Jenna Marek leads the way with three goals. Junior Theresa Adu-Attobrah, who will be much closer to her Lumberton, N.J. home Tuesday, has played in goal for all but one game this season and has an 0.89 GAA. The Bison have nine New Jerseyans on the squad with Adu-Attobrah and a pair of Hunterdon Central alums in Sarah Hazard and Riley Coopersmith as the closest to Princeton. Carly Baggott and Eve Hewins, from Hingham, Mass., were on Hingham's 2014 Massachusetts Class 2 state championship team.Â
