Aririguzoh, Langborg Earn Ivy Men’s Basketball Weekly Awards

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's basketball team swept the Ivy League weekly awards as senior Richmond Aririguzoh was named Player of the Week and freshman Ryan Langborg Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.

Aririguzoh continued his spectacular play last week as he averaged a double-double with 18.5 points per game, 11.0 rebounds per game and 2.5 blocks per game. He went 14-of-19 from the field for a shooting percentage of .737 and also handed out three assists and had one steal.

Against Monmouth University on Tuesday, December 10 inside Jadwin Gymnasium Aririguzoh finished with 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting while also pulling down 10 rebounds and tying his career-high in blocks with four.

In Princeton's 80-65 win over Fairleigh Dickinson University on Saturday, December 14 inside the Rothman Center he went 7-of-9 from the field for a team-high 18 points and also had a game-high 12 rebounds along with two assists and one block.

Langborg started both games last week and averaged 5.0 points per game along with 4.0 rebounds while also tallying two steals and two blocks. Against Monmouth he finished with five points, three rebounds, one block and one steal while the Tigers' win over FDU he had five points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.

Princeton will be in action next tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. against Iona College (2-3) at 4:30 p.m. inside the Barclays Center as part of the Air Force Reserve HoopHall Classic.
