Women's Squash Sends Seniors Out With 8-1 Columbia Win

Seniors Samantha Chai and Isabel Hirshberg helped the Princeton Class of 2019 end their Jadwin Gym careers on a positive note Friday night, as they led the Tigers to an 8-1 win over Columbia during the final weekend of the regular season.
Princeton improved to 12-1, 5-1 in the Ivy League, and will look to secure the #2 seed at the upcoming Howe Cup Championships Sunday at noon when the Tigers take on Cornell in Ithaca, N.Y.
All eight Tiger winners claimed their matches by 3-0 scores. Both Emme Leonard and Morgan Steelman held their opponents to only 10 points apiece, while Hirshberg allowed only 11 in her win at the #9 spot. Members of every class earned at least one victory Friday night, including freshman Bubble Lui, who topped Madlen O'Connor in an exciting 11-8, 12-10, 11-8 victory at the #1 spot.
