Georgetown Secures Series Split Against Princeton

Georgetown produced the first run on a solo home run from Kyle Ruedisili in the third inning. Ramzi Haddad put the Tigers back in front in the next half frame on a two-run single. A fielders' choice tied the contest in the bottom of the fourth.
David Harding gave Princeton the lead once more with an RBI groundout in the fifth frame. The Tigers tried to add on in their next at-bat, putting runners on second and third with one out, but a strikeout and groundout retired the side. Taylor Beckett tacked on a run with a double one inning later that scored Jake Boone.
The Hoyas flipped the game around with an eight-run stanza. Ryan Davis hit a three-run home run to put Georgetown back in front and had a two-run single later in the inning. The home unit produced eight runs on six hits.
Max West brought home a run as did Brian Kregel with a single to finish the scoring in the ninth.
Nadir Lewis led the Tigers with three runs while Chris Davis, Harding, Haddad and West had multi-hit outings. The two teams combined for 29 hits.
Princeton's road trip continues at Richmond tomorrow (Mar. 18). First-pitch is set for 3 p.m.
