PRINCETON, N.J. – Behind 14 hits and an impressive pitching performance from Reece Rabin, the Princeton Tigers dropped the Rider Broncs, 11-0, at Clarke Field on Wednesday afternoon.

Nadir Lewis registered a game-high three hits while Max West produced three RBI. Jake Boone, Taylor Beckett and Ramzi Haddad also contributed multi-hit performances at the plate. Rabin produced five strikeouts in five shutout innings. The Tigers' bullpen (Trey Ramsey, Eric Hoefer, Jack Anderson and Conor Nolan) was excellent, allowing just one hit and one walk the rest of the way in the victory.

Already in front, 1-0, Princeton produced eight runs in the fourth inning which put the game away. Beckett opened up the big scoring spot with a triple to right center and touched home on a single from West. Three batters later, Chris Davis' RBI infield single made the contest, 3-0. David Harding flew out to center field for the first out of the frame.

He was the eighth batter to come to the plate.

The Tigers poured it on with a bases loaded walk and RBI groundout. West, up for the second time in the stanza, brought in Nolan and Lewis. When the Tigers nabbed their third out, they had recorded seven hits.

Rider had two runners get to second base and none after the fifth. The Broncs posted one hit after the fifth inning and had 10 of the last 11 hitters retired.

With the win, Princeton improved to 8-21 overall while Rider dropped to 13-22. It's the Tigers' second shutout of the season and largest margin of victory since Apr. 10, 2016. Princeton makes the trip to Cornell this weekend (Apr. 13-14).
