Both Princeton (6-1, 1-1 Ivy) and Penn (5-3, 1-1) opened the Ivy season Jan. 11-12 with a win over Dartmouth and a loss at Harvard.
Princeton has won the last three meetings in the series, including a CSA Tournament first-round match in 2018 and an 8-1 regular-season win a year ago. Raneem El Torky, Elle Ruggiero, Grace Doyle, Emme Leonard, Andrea Toth and Morgan Steelman are all Tigers who won matches in last year's meeting with Penn and return this year.
Following the match, the Tigers will have a full Ivy League weekend, hosting Yale Saturday and Brown Sunday in Jadwin Gym.
