Princeton scored less than three minutes into the game when Maggie Connors took the puck up ice, curled around the back of the net and found Annie Kuehl on the doorstep for the early lead.
Â
Just past the midway point of the second period, the lead became 2-0 when Connors shifted a cross-crease pass to Sharon Frankel, who sent it in.
Â
Fillier's milestone point came with less than six minutes to go in the game when Carly Bullock took a puck up ice and sent a pass to a trailing Fillier for the goal.
Â
Bullock added an empty netter just more than two minutes later for the final goal of the night.
Â
Goalie Stephanie Neatby had the shutout, the 12th of her career, on 16 saves to put her at 1,798 for her career. With the shutout, she moves into a tie for fourth all-time at Princeton and two back of the record. She moved up a spot on the career saves list to fifth, and with 39 wins, she remains in fifth on the Princeton career list in that stat.
The win was Princeton's 20th of the season, marking the seventh time Princeton has reached that number, and all in the last 18 seasons. The program record is 22, set in the 2015-16 season.
Princeton will look to complete the weekend sweep in a national top-10 battle Saturday at 3 p.m., visiting No. 6 Clarkson.
