PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's basketball will play its final game of 2021 on Tuesday, December 21, at 7 p.m. inside Jadwin Gymnasium when it hosts Kean University.
Last Time Out
With help from three double digit scorers and an enormous spark off the bench from senior Elijah Barnes, the Princeton University men's basketball team defeated the University of Maryland, Baltimore County 89-77, on Monday, December 11, inside Jadwin Gymnasium.

Senior Jaelin Llewellyn led all scorers with 24 points on 10-for-16 shooting from the field, while senior Ethan Wright recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 20 points on 8-for-16 shooting, along with a game-high 13 rebounds. Junior Tosan Evbuomwan added 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting, a game-high seven assists, and five rebounds. In 13 minutes, Barnes went 4-for-4 from the field for nine points, two rebounds and one block.

As a team, the Tigers shot 35-for-68 from the field, good for 51.5%. Princeton also took care of the ball, recording a season-low six turnovers to UMBC's 13.

As a team, Princeton ranks eighth in the nation in three-pointers with 355, and 11th in the nation in three-point field goals per game with 11.0, while leading the Ivy League in both categories. The Tigers also rank 33rd in the nation in field goal percentage (48.28%), and their 365 made field goals are an Ivy League high.

Evbuomwan leads the Ivy League in assists and ranks 11th in the nation with 5.5 per game, and his 55.5% field goal percentage is also a conference-best. He also ranks second in assist/turnover ratio (2.5), and eighth in scoring with a 13.9 points per game average.

Wright's 8.2 rebounds per game rank second in the Ivy League, and he also ranks sixth in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per game.

On Monday, December 20, Wright was honored as the Ivy League Player of the Week for the second time in 2021-22. He also earned the honor on Monday, November 22, 2021, and Llewellyn earned the conference's top honor on Monday, November 15, 2021.

- Princeton Athletics is encouraging fans to bring new or lightly used stuffed animals. The third annual Teddy Bear Toss will occur at halftime. Fans will be able to toss their stuffed animal on the court. All donations will be given to the RWJBarnabas Hospital system.
