PRINCETON, N.J. – Ivy League play opens for the Princeton University men's basketball team with back-to-back games inside Jadwin Gymnasium, first against Columbia University on Friday, January 7, followed by Cornell University on Saturday, January 8.
Last Time Out
It was season-highs across the board Tuesday night inside Jadwin Gymnasium, as the Princeton University men's basketball team wrapped up play for 2021 with a 100-59 win over Kean University.
The victory moved Princeton to 10-3, its best start since the 2013-14 season.

The Tigers' 100 points was a season-high, as was their made field goals (39), field goal percentage (62.9%), rebounds for a game that ended in regulation (42), and assists (27). The Tigers 15 made three-pointers and 51.7% mark from deep tied the program's season-high in both categories. and Princeton also scored 100 points in a game that ended in regulation for the first time since its 108-46 victory over Rowan College on Friday, November 25, 2016.
Five Tigers finished in double figures, with seniors Ethan Wright and Max Johns tying for the team-high in points with 13 each. Wright shot 4-for-5 from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 from the three, while Johns went 4-for-5 from the field and 2-for-3 from beyond the arc on route to his career-high 13 points. Senior Jaelin Llewellyn added 10 points on 4-for-5 shooting and 2-for-3 shooting from long range, while junior Keeshawn Kellman shot 5-for-6 from the field to add 10 points along with a game-high seven rebounds. Freshman Mason Hooks was perfect from the field, going 5-for-5 and scoring 10 points. Junior Ryan Langborg also added a game and career-high five assists.

The Tigers lead the Ivy League in three-point field goals per game (11.3), made three-point field goals (147), and three-point field goal percentage (38.3%).

Junior Tosan Evbuomwan leads the conference in assists (5.5), and field goal percentage (55.5%), while ranking second in assist/turnover ratio (2.5), eighth in scoring (13.9), and eighth in rebounding (5.8).

Wright has five double-doubles on the season, and ranks first in the Ivy League in defensive rebounding (6.9), second in rebounding (7.8), second in field goal percentage (49.6%), fourth in three-point field goal percentage (43.5%), seventh in three-point field goals per game (2.6), and seventh in scoring (14.6)

Llewellyn ranks fifth in the conference in scoring (15.8), fourth in field goal percentage (46.4%), seventh in assists (2.7), and ninth in three-point field goals per game (2.3).

Princeton Athletics Attendance Policy Updates Through January 31
Princeton has announced it will be limiting spectators at indoor athletic events to Princeton students, faculty, and staff who are fully compliant with the University's COVID-19 protocols. This attendance restriction will begin immediately and extend through January 31.

Princeton Athletics will continue to work closely with University health and safety administrators to revisit welcoming back full spectator attendance for all winter events as soon as appropriate.
Guests who have previously purchased tickets to events scheduled from January 7-31 will automatically receive a refund for their purchase based on their original form of payment. If an event during this time is rescheduled for a later date, tickets for the original event will be honored accordingly.
