Men’s Track & Field to Begin Indoor Season at TCNJ Indoor Open

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's track & field team officially kicks off its' 2022-23 campaign on Saturday at The College of New Jersey Indoor Open at 5 p.m. inside the Armory in New York, New York.

This season the Tigers will look to secure eight-consecutive Ivy League Indoor Championships, and win their 25th in school history.
At the most recent Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championships, in 2021, Princeton came in first, compiling 189 points and winning titles in the 60-meter hurdles, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1000 meters, mile, shot put and the heptathlon.
Princeton enters the indoor season with a strong mix of experienced veterans and talented newcomers.
This years' squad will look to continue the tradition of success within the Ivy League as well as compete against some of the best programs in the nation throughout the season.
The Tigers' talent runs deep throughout this years' roster and will include several, key returners. 2022 First Team All Ivy Honorees, Sondre Guttormsen, Ibrahim Ayorinde, Harrison Witt, and Andrei Iosivas, will all be helping to lead the Tigers to another victorious year.
The team also welcomes 15 newcomers in 2022-23; Cooper Austen, Lorenzo Cagliero, John Catherman, Greg Foster, Joey Gant, Jack Gregorski, Casey Helm, Isa Hitchens, Myles Hogan, Joe Licata, Connor McCormick, Nicholas Molloy, Asher Robbins, Jackson Shorten, and Easton Tan.
