Tosan Evbuomwan Named to #IvyMadness All-Tournament Team

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Unanimous Ivy League Player of the Year Tosan Evbuomwan was rewarded for his outstanding play at the 2022 Ivy League Tournament with a spot on the All-Tournament Team, as announced by the league Sunday afternoon.

On the tournament, he averaged 20.5 points per game, on 18-for-31 shooting from the field (58.1%). He also averaged 8.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, along with two blocks and two steals.

In the Tigers' 77-73 semifinal victory over Cornell University on Saturday, March 12, he finished with 21 points on 10-for-18 shooting, along with six rebounds, and six assists. Against Yale University in the final on Sunday, March 13, Evbuomwan had 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the field, 4-for-5 shooting from the free throw line, 11 rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Against the Bulldogs, Evbuomwan brought his assist total to 135 in 2021-22, which moved him up to third all-time in school history for most assists in a season.
