CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Princeton University men's track and field team will compete in the Virginia Challenge from April 22nd – April 23rd. Start time is 9:00 a.m. on Friday and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The Tigers were ranked 20th overall in the latest USTFCCCA rating index, with the orange and black holding four top-10 marks in the nation. Sondre Guttormsen (5.75 m) and Simen Guttormsen (5.65 m) are ranked second and fourth in the pole vault, Robbie Otal (61.71 m) is ranked seventh in the discus, and Chandler Ault (72.35 m) is ranked ninth in the javelin.

In their most recent outing at the Larry Ellis Invitational, Michael Phillippy set a new school record in the 400 meters with a time of 46.06. The orange and black also delivered three more top-10 school performances, with William Cauley (60.09 m) and Paul Brennan (59.90 m) landing seventh all-time and eighth all-time in the hammer throw respectively. Meanwhile, Kaden Reynolds moved into tenth all-time in school history with a time of 21.26 in the 200 meters.
