WORCESTER, Mass. – The No. 9 Princeton Heavyweight Rowing Team heads to the Eastern Sprints this weekend on Lake Quinsigamond.
"After three years without Eastern Sprints, it is so awesome to have it back, said Princeton head coach Greg Hughes. "For most of our team, this will be the first opportunity to race at Sprints and there is a lot of excitement for the weekend ahead. The team has made some solid improvements over the last two weeks and we all cannot wait to line up again."
Princeton last raced on Apr. 30, dropping a 2.7-second decision to No. 7 Brown. The Bears also had wins at 2V8, 3V8, 4V8 and 5V8. Four of the five races were decided by four seconds or less.
The Tigers also have victories this season over Georgetown, Drexel, Temple, Navy and a disqualified decision over No. 1 Yale.
