BOSTON – The 2022 season started on a high note for the Princeton University men's cross country team, as it earned a first-place finish at the HYP Meet Saturday morning at Franklin Field.
The Tigers' victory came after finishing with 29 points, while Harvard finished in second with 31, and Yale in third with 69.
Competing in the 6K, Princeton had five finishers inside the top-10. Anthony Monte finished second in 17:42.4, Daniel O'Brien fourth with a time of 17:51.7, and Josh Zelek fifth after clocking in at 17:58.5. Connor Nisbet took eighth after finishing in 18:11.10, and Matthew Farrell 10th in 18:15.2.
