BOSTON – The Princeton University women's cross country team got its 2022 campaign off to a strong start, finishing a close second at the HYP Meet Saturday at Franklin Field.

The Tigers second-place finish came after ending the meet with 34 points, while Harvard, who won the meet, had 25 points, while Yale finished third with 78 points.

Princeton showed its depth, and had seven finishers inside the top-15 in the 5K. Abby Loveys led the way, finishing second in 17:49.9, while Fiona Max clocked in at 17:52.2 to finishing fourth. Page Lester took fifth in 17:58.2, Angie Allen 11^th in 18:16.8, Mari Noble 12^th in 18:23.9, Maggie Liebich 13^th in 18:29.8, and Madeleine Burns 14^th in 18:31.4.
