Princeton didn't wait two minutes to get its first goal of Sunday afternoon's game and didn't stop there in a 4-1 win over George Mason on Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium.

The opening goal came on a Heather MacNab header off a corner kick from Kamryn Loustau for MacNab's team-best fourth goal of the year, and though George Mason's Shea Carroll tied it up in the 20th minute, the tie didn't last 10 minutes.

In the 30th minute, Ally Murphy stole a George Mason pass on Princeton's attacking side of midfield and found Drew Coomans on the right side for a Coomans centering pass to Lexi Hiltunen for the finish. The points were career firsts for rookies Murphy and Coomans.

Princeton's 2-1 lead remained through the halftime break and well into the second half, but Lily Bryant was tripped up in the penalty box in the 74th minute and converted the penalty kick to double the Princeton edge. Bryant's and Hiltunen's goals were both season-firsts.

Pietra Tordin tacked on the final goal in the 85th minute, intercepting a George Mason clearing attempt and taking it back toward the goal, threading it through for her third goal of her rookie season.

Princeton will head into its final weekend before the Ivy League schedule begins on Sept. 24, traveling to Hofstra on Thursday before hosting Delaware on Sept. 18.
