Rebounding dominance and five double-digit scorers powered the Princeton University men's basketball team to an 88-66 victory over Columbia, on Saturday, January 5, inside Jadwin Gymnasium as the Tigers completed the weekend sweep.

Five finished in double digits for the second consecutive game, and the Tigers out-rebounded the Lions 48-34. The victory moved the Tigers to a conference-best 7-2 in Ivy League play.
200 Career Wins
Franklin C. Cappon-Edward C. Green '40 Head Coach Mitch Henderson recorded his 200th career win Princeton's 89-82 victory over Cornell on Friday, February 3, inside Jadwin Gymnasium. He is currently third all-time in wins at Princeton; Franklin (Cappy) Cappon is second with 250, and Pete Carril first with 514.

Princeton's victory over Cornell on Friday, February 3, marked 100 regular-season Ivy League wins for Henderson. He became the eighth Ivy League men's basketball coach to reach the milestone, and the second from Princeton as Pete Carril sits atop the list with 310 regular-season conference wins.
Crashing The Boards
The Tigers have been one of the best rebounding teams in the nation so far in 2022-23, with their 29.50 defensive rebounds per game ranking No. 4 in the nation. Princeton's rebound margin of 8.0 also ranks No. 6 nationally, and the Tigers rank No. 16 in the nation in rebounds per game, averaging 39.41.

200 Assists For Evbuomwan
In the first half of Princeton's game against Iona on Tuesday, December 13, Evbuomwan found Pierce for the 200th assist of his career. Evbuomwan's 142 assists in the 2021-22 season were No. 2 all-time at Princeton, trailing only William F. Ryan's 161 assists in the 1983-84 season.

The 2022 Ivy League Player of the Year
Evbuomwan has continued his stellar play in the 2022-23 season, ranking first on the team and fifth in the Ivy League in scoring with 14.0 points on 53.8% shooting, which ranks seventh in the conference. He also ranks second on the team in rebounding and eighth in the Ivy League with 5.8 per game, leads the conference in assists with 4.6 and is tied for third on the team in steals with 15. Evbuomwan's assist/turnover ratio of 1.4 also ranks sixthin the Ivy League.

100 Made Threes For Langborg
With 132 made three-pointers in his career, Langborg ranks No. 15 all-time in school history for made three-pointers. This was accomplished in a shortened 2019-20 season and no 2020-21 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, 22 Tigers have exceeded 100 made three-pointers in their career. Langborg is also averaging 11.8 points per game, which ranks second on the team and 13th in the Ivy League, and his 2.1 three-pointers per game rank sixth in the conference. Additionally, Langborg's 66 made three-pointers in the 2021-22 rank No. 13 all-time at Princeton for most made three-pointers in a season.

Ivy Rookie of the Week
Deven Austin was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Monday, February 6. On the week, he averaged 11.5 points on 57.1% shooting from the field and 85.7% shooting from the free throw line, while also pulling down nine rebounds, blocking two shots and recording two steals.

Against Cornell, Austin finished with 13 points on 4-for-6 shooting from the field and a perfect 5-for-5 shooting from the free line, a season-high eight rebounds, one block and one steal. He followed up with 10 points on 4-for-8 shooting from the field in Princeton's win over the Lions.
He is the third Tiger to be named Rookie of the Week, as Caden Pierce has won the award twice, and Xaivian Lee once.

Kellman has provided the Tigers with a reliable presence inside in 2022-23, averaging 9.2 points (No. 4 on the team) on 62.9% shooting (No. 1 in the Ivy League) along with 4.6 rebounds. He has scored in double digits in ten games, and Kellman's 19 blocked shots rank seventh in the Ivy League.

Allocco has taken his game to another level this season, and ranks third on the team in scoring with 11.0 points on 50.3% shooting from the field and 42.4% shooting from three, which ranks No. 3 in the Ivy League.
