Tosan Evbuomwan ‘23 Completes Summer League With Detroit Pistons

LAS VEGAS – After leading the Princeton University men's basketball team to the 2023 Sweet Sixteen, Tosan Evbuomwan '23 recently played in the NBA 2K24 Summer League with the Detroit Pistons.

In three appearances for the Pistons inside the Thomas & Mack Center, all of which were starts, Evbuomwan averaged 7.0 points-per-game on 50.0 percent shooting, 4.0 rebounds and 1.33 assists in 22.9 minutes.

In a 94-90 win over the Toronto Raptors on July 12, Evbuomwan finished with six points on 2-for-3 shooting from the field, two rebounds and one block. He backed that performance up with nine points on 3-for-6 shooting from the field and 1-for-1 shooting from three along with two rebounds, two assists and two seals on July 14 in a victory over the San Antonio Spurs. In the Pistons final Summer League contest, a 100-85 triumph over the Indiana Pacers on July 16, Evbuomwan had six points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block.
