Xaivian Lee Named MBWA Player Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) announced its first round of weekly awards for the 2024-25 season Tuesday afternoon and junior Xaivian Lee of the Princeton University men's basketball team was honored as the Player of the Week.
The honor is Lee's second of the week, as he was named Ivy League Player of the Week on Dec. 9.
Lee averaged 17.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.5 steals in the Tigers' two games against Saint Joe's and Furman last week.
Lee made history against the Hawks on Dec. 3 inside Hagan Arena, becoming the first player in program history and one of five players in the nation to record a triple double. He finished with 17 points on 50.0% shooting, 13 rebounds and 10 assists while also adding two steals.
Against the Paladins on Dec. 7 in Greenville, South Carolina, Lee had 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and one steal.
