No. 9 Quinnipiac Defeats No. 12 Princeton, 3-1

Sarah Paul had a goal with three minutes to go in the third period, but No. 9 Quinnipiac had built a three-goal lead and that turned out to be enough as the Bobcats defeated the No. 12-ranked Princeton women's hockey team 3-1 on Saturday in Connecticut.
Quinnipiac's Sophie Urban gave the Bobcats their first goal with less than three minutes to go in the first period, and just as a Princeton five-minute penalty was about to end, Kate Reilly pushed the lead to 2-0 before Kendall Cooper scored with less than three minutes to go in the second period to make it 3-0.
Paul put in a rebound on a Maggie Johnson shot with 3:12 to go in the game to make it 3-1 and net her 14th goal of the year.
The Tigers will play their final regular-season home games next weekend, hosting Clarkson and St. Lawrence.
