Dalen Davis Honored As Ivy League Player Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore Dalen Davis of the Princeton University men's basketball team became the third Tiger in 2024-25 to be honored as Ivy League Player of the Week Monday afternoon, as the conference office announced its weekly awards.

Davis joins juniors Caden Pierce (Dec. 23) and Xaivian Lee (Dec. 9) as recipients of the Ivy League Player of the Week award this season.

He led Princeton to a 76-75 win over Akron on Dec. 30 inside Jadwin Gymnasium, a contest where he made the game-winning three-point basket, along with a 92-71 victory over Kean in Princeton's non-conference finale on Jan. 4. Across the two games, Davis averaged 13.5 points-per-game, 4.0 steals, 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds.

Against the Zips, along with the-game winning three-pointer, Davis recorded eighteen points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals. Against the Cougars, he tallied nine points on 3-for-5 shooting from three and four steals.
