Inchauspe, Ardila Set For NCAA Individual Championships

PRINCETON, N.J.- Tuesday, November 18 marks the beginning of the NCAA Division I Individual Championships, the final year of the two-year pilot program of the tournament in the fall season.
Paul Inchauspe and Landon Ardila will travel to Orlando, Florida, to compete at NCAAs and represent the Tigers.
The doubles team entered the event ranked No. 21 in the ITA preseason rankings and secured their NCAA berth at the ITA All-American Championships. In the doubles quarterfinals, Inchauspe and Ardila defeated Michigan State's Danial Rakhmatullayev and Taym Alazmeh, 6–3, 1–6, 10–5.
Inchauspe will also compete in singles after qualifying at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships. Ranked No. 18 in the preseason ITA singles poll, he earned his spot by defeating Penn's Manfredi Graziani, 6–1, 6–4, in the semifinals. This marks the junior's third consecutive season qualifying for both the NCAA singles and doubles tournaments.
For Ardila, the run at the ITA All-Americans secured his first career qualification for the NCAA Individual Championships.
Inchauspe will kick off the tournament with singles play, taking on No. 89 Sasha Rozin of Arizona at approximately 2:30 PM on Nov. 18.
In doubles, Inchauspe and Ardila will face No. 90 Chris Xu and Neils Ratiu of North Carolina on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The tournament will take place November 18–23 at the USTA National Campus.
