Women's Hockey Wins 13th Straight, Sets Program Record
January 17, 2026 | Women's Ice Hockey
Three goals before the game was seven minutes old helped lift the No. 9-ranked Princeton women's hockey team to a 5-0 win over Dartmouth on Saturday at Baker Rink, delivering the Tigers their program-record 13th straight win.
The previous mark of 12 games came during the 2015-16 season.Â
Goals from Issy Wunder, Mackenzie Alexander and Hannah Fetterolf gave the Tigers the early breathing room. Before three minutes were gone, Wunder finished off a tic-tac-toe at the crease from linemates Alexander and Emerson O'Leary, and just more than three minutes later, it was Wunder's turn to provide the help as she and Alexander finished off a rush up the ice with Wunder dishing to her fellow winger for the goal.
Just 33 seconds later, Fetterolf emerged from a scrum along the boards with the puck, skating ahead to the slot for a backhand finish and a 3-0 lead.
Katherine Khramtsov added the fourth Tiger goal just before the midpoint of the third period, and three-plus minutes later, Jane Kuehl tipped in a Rosie Klein blast for the 5-0 lead.
Wunder's goal extended her goal-scoring streak to a seventh consecutive game and her point-scoring streak to a 13th straight game, and Alexander extended her point-scoring streak to a 13th straight game as well. O'Leary's assist moved her to 98 career points as she looks to become the sixth Tiger in the last 10 years to reach the career century mark.Â
Princeton outshot Dartmouth 83-34 overall and 51-19 on goal with Uma Corniea getting the shutout by making all 19 stops.
The ECAC Hockey-leading Tigers will return home next weekend to host Cornell and Colgate.
