Duke countered in its half of the eighth with a two-run double from Tyler Albright. In the ninth with two outs, a bases loaded walk from Joe Montembeau got one of the runs back. A throwing error allowed Kernodle to score before Lamson was issued a bases loaded walk to put Princeton back in front …

Tommy Googins opened up the Duke portion of the ninth stanza with an impressive play, moving to his left and throwing out the base runner. Elliott Eaton proceeded to strike out the next hitter before a foul out finished off the Tigers' thrilling comeback.

Koonin led the Tigers with three hits and two runs. Will Sword struck out four in three relief frames while Eaton corralled the win, scattering two hits over the final three stanzas.
Princeton improves to 2-7 on the season. The Tigers will head to South Carolina to begin their Spring Break trip next Saturday (Mar. 7).
