• Princeton has played a Division II or III opponent after the finals break annually since 1986, except for 2006, 2007 and 2012. Princeton is 25-0 in post-finals break DII/III games, in addition to a win in 2012 and a loss in 2006, with both of those coming before the finals break. The Tigers faced Davidson after the finals break in 2006, Seton Hall in 2007 and Penn in 2012.
• In the 25 post-finals DII/III games, the final margin has been single digits only once, when the 1997-98 Tigers defeated TCNJ by nine points.
• Kean will be Princeton's second NJAC opponent all-time, with the Tigers going 5-0 against TCNJ in 1998, 2001 and 2011-13.
• Princeton's 11-3 record is its best through 14 games since the 1997-98 season. Princeton was last 12-3 in 1997-98 and was last 11-4 in 2010-11.
• Princeton is in the top 100 in Division I in 14 of the 28 statistical categories that the NCAA compiles. Princeton has three top-10 rankings, in fewest total turnovers (first, 145; team is 25th in turnovers per game at 10.4), 3-pointers per game (fourth, 10.1) and fewest fouls (third, 241).
• Princeton is averaging 74.8 points per game this season, the program's best scoring average through 14 games since the 1971-72 season. That was also the last time Princeton scored at least 66 points in each of the first 14 games, as it has done this season.
• If Princeton scores at least 66 points against Kean, it'd be the first time in program history that the team scored at least 66 in each of the first 15 games. The 1971-72 team scored 66 in each of the first 14 but was held to 59 by No. 9 Penn as the No. 17 team in the nation by the AP.
• Heading into Saturday's games, Princeton was the highest-scoring team in the Ivy League at 74.8 ppg, ahead of Brown's 72.5 ppg and Harvard's 72.4. The Tigers were also tops in the Ivy with a 1.4 assist-to-turnover ratio, ahead of Harvard's 1.2, and in 3-pointers per game at 10.1, ahead of Columbia's 8.7.
• Entering Saturday's games, Ben Hazel was the top free throw shooter in the Ivy at .906, making 29 of his 32 attempts. Columbia's Grant Mullins was second at .878.
• Princeton's opponents have scored 33 or more points by halftime five times in 14 games. Three of the games were the losses to Penn, Butler and Portland, and the other two against Lafayette and Penn State became wins only after second-half comebacks. Princeton is 7-0 when opponents score below 70 points and 4-3 when opponents reach 70.
• Princeton's 2-2 stretch following its 9-1 start has coincided with a dip in 3-point FG percentage. The Tigers are shooting .311 (28-90) from distance over the last four games after shooting .399 (113-283) over the first 10. Princeton has shot below 40 percent from beyond the arc in four straight and hasn't shot below 40 percent in five straight since doing so in eight straight from Nov. 19 to Dec. 10, 2011.
• Princeton will have a distinct height advantage over Kean. The Cougars' usual five starters average 6-foot-1, topping out at 6-foot-5 Xavier Fuller. Princeton's usual five averages 6-foot-6, ranging from 6-foot-3 Jimmy Sherburne to 6-foot-10 Will Barrett.
• Kean's opponents, entering Saturday, are shooting just .340 from beyond the arc, below Princeton's average of .378.
• Kean last played a Division I opponent on Nov. 20, 2010, an 86-68 loss to Maryland-Eastern Shore.
• The Tigers have upped their point total from first halves to second halves in nine of the 14 games this season. Princeton is 9-0 when leading at the half this season and has won 21 straight such games. In the other four games, the Tigers rallied to win at Penn State and against Lafayette but came up 14 points short against Portland and by one possession at Butler.
• Princeton is on pace to break the program record for 3-pointers made in a season. The 1997-98 team made 265, and at Princeton's present clip of 10.1 threes per game, with 14 more regular-season games to play, the projected final regular-season number stands at 282.
• Princeton doesn't have a player in the Ivy League's official top 12 in points per game, but that figures to change by the end of January. If T.J. Bray plays in Princeton's next two games, he'll make the 75 percent cutoff by the Harvard game on Jan. 31. Entering Saturday's games, Bray's present per-game average of 17.4 would be good for second in the Ivy behind Sean McGonagill of Brown (18.6). Bray would lead the league in assists at 6.2 apg if he met the minimum, as Harvard's Siyani Chambers (4.5 apg) is credited as the league's current leader in assists per game.
• Princeton has nearly doubled its opponents in the number of 3-pointers made this season, canning 141 to 74 for its foes. The Tigers have also tried significantly more than their opponents, though not quite twice as many, at 373-211.
• Of Princeton's 736 field goal attempts this season, 373, or 50.7 percent, have been from beyond the arc.
• Princeton is 8-1 this season when holding opponents below 37 percent from beyond the arc and 3-2 when foes hit at least 37 percent of their treys. Penn (33.3) was the first team to defeat Princeton without making at least 37 percent from beyond the arc.
• Rebounding has not been much of a predictor of victory for Princeton this season. Princeton has won the rebounding battle in 7 of 14 games this season and is 5-2 in those contests. Princeton is 6-1 when losing the rebounding stat. Penn was the first team to beat Princeton and win the rebounding battle.
• Princeton returns nearly 75 percent of its scoring from a year ago despite graduating reigning Ivy Player of the Year Ian Hummer '13. The team also returns 71 percent of its starts and 67 percent of its minutes, with Denton Koon, T.J. Bray, Will Barrett and Hans Brase all having started at least 18 games last season.
• 36 percent of Princeton's points this season have been scored by players who weren't on the 2012-13 roster, including rookies Spencer Weisz (9.1 ppg), Peter Miller (2.2 ppg) and Steven Cook (1.3 ppg), junior Ben Hazel (10.2 ppg) and senior Jimmy Sherburne (6.5 ppg). Hazel and Sherburne took the 2012-13 season off from Princeton.
• Seven players (Bray, Brase, Koon, Hazel, Barrett, Weisz, Sherburne) have played 89.8 percent of the minutes this season and have scored 93.4 percent of the points.
• Princeton has trailed in the second half in nine games this season: Butler, Lafayette, Bucknell, Rutgers, Penn State, Portland, Kent State, Liberty and Penn, including by double figures at Butler (13), Penn State (20), Portland (18) and Penn (11). The Tigers came within a final possession at Butler and Penn and came all the way back to win at Penn State, though Princeton never mounted a sustained rally against Portland.
• Looking ahead, Princeton will begin the first of six straight Friday-Saturday Ivy League weekends next Friday, and it will do so in a venue that has not seen the Tigers win since 2010. Princeton and Harvard will tangle Friday at 7 p.m. on the banks of the Charles before Princeton heads to the shore of the Connecticut River to face Dartmouth next Saturday night.

• Kean University first gained Kean in its name in 1973, 15 years after it relocated to the Kean family's former estate in Union Township. After taking the Kean College name in 1973, it became Kean University in 1997. Its first name, upon its founding in 1855, was Newark Normal School.
• Perhaps the most prominent connection between the Kean family and Princeton is Thomas Kean, Sr., the governor of New Jersey from 1982-1990. He is a 1957 Princeton alumnus and is the last New Jersey governor to serve out two complete terms.
• Entering Monday, Kean was ranked in the top 100 in Division III in nine statistical categories, with the best ranking coming in turnover margin. The Cougars average 3.9 fewer turnovers than their opponent, the 27th-best average in D-3.
• Entering their game at TCNJ Saturday, the Cougars had alternated wins and losses in eight straight games. Kean was 6-2 through its first eight and has gone 3-4 since, entering the TCNJ game.
• Kean has four players averaging double-figure points but no other players averaging more than 4.1 ppg. Those four players - Ali Mix (17.7 ppg), Michael Burton (14.9), Tommy Soulias (12.4) and Xavier Fuller (10.4) - account for 73.3 percent of Kean's points. Those four have also started every game in which they have played (Soulias did not play in four of the first 15 games).
• Along with Mix, Burton, Soulias and Fuller, Tim Steward has started all 15 games. Emmanuel Omowole started the four games Soulias did not start. Steward averages 3.2 points per game but is fourth on the team in rebounds (3.7 rpg), third in steals (0.8 spg) and fourth in assists (0.8 apg).
• The Cougars have nine players who have played 96.1 percent of the team's minutes (Mix, Burton, Soulias, Fuller, Steward, Omowole, Kyle Latorre, J.J. Hladik, Mike Summerer).
• Heading into Saturday's game at TCNJ, Kean was in fourth place in the NJAC at 5-4, two and a half games back of league-leading William Paterson and Rutgers-Newark (8-2). The league plays an 18-game schedule.
• Kean last won the NJAC in 1991.

| Mitch Henderson '98 is in his third season as Princeton's head coach. His overall record at Princeton is 48-26. Under Henderson, Princeton is 24-6 at home, 20-9 in the Ivy League, and 13-1 in the Ivy League at home. Princeton is 37-8 when leading at the half under Henderson and has won 21 straight such games. Henderson is aiming to become the first Princeton coach since John Thompson III '88 to have winning seasons in each of his first three campaigns. He would be the sixth Princeton coach to accomplish that, following Frederick Luehring (1912-20), Butch van Breda Kolff '44 (1962-67), Pete Carril (1967-96), Bill Carmody (1996-2000) and Thompson III '88 (2000-04). Henderson is in ninth place on the Princeton all-time wins list, with predecessor Sydney Johnson '97 in eighth with 66 wins over four seasons. With 37 wins through his first two seasons, Henderson was fourth on the list of wins for Princeton coaches through their first two campaigns, behind Carmody (51), van Breda Kolff (39), and Carril (39). Henderson was a second-team All-Ivy Leaguer in 1998, an honorable mention All-Ivy Leaguer in 1997, and was a two-time Ivy Rookie of the Week in 1994-95. Henderson graduated as the fourth-leading assist man in program history (kept since 1974-75) and is now fifth, having been surpassed by one of his players, Ian Hummer '13. Henderson graduated fifth in career assists (kept since 1974-75) and is now eighth, having been passed by former teammate Gabe Lewullis '99, current San Diego Padre Will Venable '05 and Marcus Schroeder '10. Henderson is one of seven Princeton alumni who are current Division I head coaches, including John Thompson III '88 (Georgetown), Joe Scott '87 (Denver), Mike Brennan '94 (American), Chris Mooney '94 (Richmond), Sydney Johnson '97 (Fairfield) and Craig Robinson '83 (Oregon State). The Tigers are second only to North Carolina (eight) in alumni as current D-I head coaches.
