| Princeton reached 20 wins on the season for the fourth time in five years with a 70-65 victory over Penn Tuesday night at Jadwin Gym. The Tigers were up by as many as six points in the first half before Penn whittled the lead away and entered halftime with a 2-point edge at 31-29. The Quakers took a six-point lead of their own as late as six minutes into the second half before Princeton went on a 9-0 run and never trailed the rest of the way. Princeton finished with three players in double figures, including a team-best 18 points from T.J. Bray, a season/career-best 14 from rookie Steven Cook and 12 from junior Clay Wilson. Bray entered the game needing 23 points for both 1,000 career points and Princeton's first Ivy League scoring title since 1972, but the senior came up just five points short. |
