June 01, 2015 | Men's Basketball
Incoming freshman Devin Cannady is set to play in a series of Indiana all-star games after being selected as an all-state honoree.
Cannady is one of 14 players who have been named Indiana All-Stars by the Indianapolis Star and will play a series of four games against junior all-stars and the Kentucky high school all-star team in early June. Cannady comes to Princeton from Marian High School in Mishawaka in northern Indiana. The all-star team has players headed to major-conference schools once again this year.
Cannady's run through the all-star circuit will begin June 5 at the Hoosiers' Reunion All-Star Classic at the Hoosier Gym in Knightstown, Indiana, a filming location for the movie Hoosiers. He will then play against the Indiana Junior All-Stars on June 8 in Richmond, Indiana and on June 10 in Columbus, Indiana. The Indiana All-Stars will play against the Kentucky All-Stars in Lexington, Kentucky on June 12 and at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on June 13.
The program previously announced its four-member recruiting class, which will join a team that returns its top four scorers and six of its top seven after its sixth straight winning overall season and its seventh straight winning Ivy campaign.
