EYE ON THE TIGERS
Princeton returns home for its first game at Hobey Baker Rink since Nov. 11, and completing a six-game road trip. Last weekend the Tigers split against Dartmouth and Harvard. Junior Karlie Lund leads the offense for the third straight season with 11 points on four goals and seven assists, and is six points away from reaching 100 career points. Sophomore Carly Bullock has a team-high eight goals while junior defender Stephanie Sucharda has a team-best eight helpers. Freshman Rachel McQuigge played and won her first game making 11 saves in goal against the Big Green. Senior Alysia DaSilva has appeared in four games has a .943 save percentage and a 1.54 goals against average. Sophomore Stephanie Neatby has made 10 starts and has a .912 save percentage and a 2.54 GAA.
PRINCETON/QUINNIPIAC SERIES
The series between these two travel partners is even at 14-14-4. Last year the teams met five times including three games in the ECAC Quarterfinals. Princeton won four of those five games and advanced to the ECAC semifinals with the series win.
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
Quinnipiac is on a hot streak going 5-1-2 in its last eight games. Overall the squad is 10-7-2 and tied for first in league play with a 6-4 mark. Juniors MacKenzie Lancaster and Melissa Samoskevich lead the offense with 14 and 13 points. Lancaster has a team-high 10 assist while Samoskevich has scored nine times. Sophomore Abbie Ives has started in goal in all but three games and has a .907 save percentage and a 1.97 GAA. A strong point for the team is its penalty-killing unit, which ranks third in the nation at 90 percent.
