Â
Prior the contest, the team honored its Class of 2019, Nicole Catalino, Jane Donio-Enscoe, Annabeth Donovan, Sarah Holland, Casey Swezey, Sophia Tornetta, Elise Wong. That group proved to be vital as Donovan scored the game-tying goal in the second half.
Â
Penn registered the first goal of the contest in the eighth minute as Alexa Schneck broke away and snuck a bouncing ball by Grace Baylis.
Â
Ali McCarthy had the first scoring threat for Princeton as she blasted a big shot in the circle, but the defender blocked it. One minute later, the Tigers got on the scoreboard as Maddie Bacskai whipped a shot through on a corner.
The Quakers looked to regain the lead on a corner a short time later, but the deflection was knocked wide.Tigers Goal! Maddie gets through on a corner attempt! Her third of the season! We're tied at 1-all, 15:56 left - Watch - https://t.co/NT1PBPTQmD #TigerUp pic.twitter.com/hqF1GO1Lej

With 14 minutes remaining, after a shot from McCarthy, the ball found the stick of Julianna Tornetta, who took care of the rest and gave Princeton the lead.
Princeton was called for a yellow card as the clock ticked near four minutes, but did not allow a shot for the rest of the way. The Quakers also pulled their goalie, but the Tigers' defense was stout and helped secure the victory.Tigers Goal! Off the rebound ...
