Princeton Opposes New Hampshire To Finish Off 2018

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers finish off the 2018 portion of their schedule at New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon at Lundholm Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.

Currently on a six-game winning streak, head coach Courtney Banghart's group has outscored its opponents by 18.5 points per game since starting the year 1-7.

Defense, Actually – Princeton shot 18-of-35 (51.4 percent) in the second half, outscoring St. Francis-Brooklyn, 41-29, in the final 20 minutes of action. It was the seventh time that the Terriers had allowed at least 70 points.

Santa Clause Threes – Jade Johnson provided almost all of the Terriers' production from deep, going 6-of-13. The rest of St. Francis-Brooklyn was 1-of-7 in the contest.

A Rebounding Story – Princeton outrebounded Hartford, 49-32, in the contest on Dec. 21. Head coach Courtney Banghart's squad's 49 boards were a season-high. It was the fourth time in the last five games that the Tigers have snagged at least 40 rebounds. Bella Alarie had a game-high 11 caroms, securing her 22nd career double-double. Â

How The Grinch Stole Passes – Princeton forced 19 turnovers against St. Francis-Brooklyn, leading to 19 points. The Tigers finished with 12 steals in the game with four different players picking up at least two each.

Ashley Storey - Storey leads New Hampshire in scoring (17.0). She also sits at 6.4 rebounds, 2.1 steals, and 1.5 assists and 1.4 blocks. The red-shirt junior has been a beacon of consistency for the Wildcats, scoring at least 10 points in 11 of 12 games this season including six 20+ point outings.
