Princeton Set For #IvyMadness This Weekend At Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Princeton Tigers got ready for the Ivy League Tournament with their day before shootaround at the Lee Amphitheater on Friday.

Head coach Courtney Banghart along with Sydney Jordan, Gabrielle Rush and Bella Alarie spoke with the media prior to the shootaround.

1. Princeton - The Tigers are the top team in the Ivy League in terms of RPI (53). Head coach Courtney Banghart's unit is first in the Ivy League in free throw percentage (78.1), turnover margin (+2.90), second in field goal percentage (41.2), assists per game (15.4), blocked shots per game (5.3), steals per game (9.3) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.11).
2. Penn - Penn is 22-5 and went 12-2 in the Ivy League. The Quakers are second in the conference in RPI (57). Penn is one of the best defensive teams in the country, sitting fourth in field goal percentage defense (33.5) and seventh in scoring defense (53.7). Eleah Parker is fifth in the Ivies in scoring (15.6) and first in blocks (3.26) and rebounds (8.9).
3. Harvard - Harvard is 16-11 overall and 9-5 in the Ivy League. The Crimson are third in the Ivy League in RPI (87). Harvard has the top scoring offense (71.4) in the conference, sit first in field goal percentage (41.3) and are second in field goal percentage defense (36.0), good for 22nd in the nation.
4. Cornell - Cornell went 12-13 this season and 6-8 in the Ivy League. The Big Red are last in the conference in scoring offense (58.4), but second in scoring defense (58.8).
