PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's basketball team will play its final game before Thanksgiving Wednesday night when it takes on Monmouth University inside the OceanFirst Bank Center in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
Through Five Games
Senior Jaelin Llewellyn leads Princeton and ranks ninth in the Ivy League in scoring with 13.6 points per game, while senior Ethan Wright averages a team-high and ranks second in the conference in rebounding with 8.4 per game. Junior Tosan Evbuomwan leads the Tigers and ranks second in the Ivy League in assists with 4.8 per game, and his assist/turnover ratio of 2.4 also ranks second in the conference. Senior Drew Friberg leads Princeton in steals with eight, and Evbuomwan, junior Keeshawn Kellman, freshman Mason Hooks, along with freshman Darius Gakwasi each have a team-high two blocks.

Princeton earned is second Power Five win nine days when it defeated Oregon State University 81-80 on Sunday, November 12, in Corvallis, Oregon. Wright's career-best 24 points topped his previous career-high of 21 from Princeton's win over Brown University on Friday, February 15, 2020. It came on 8-for-14 shooting from the field, 6-for-11 shooting from three, and 2-for-2 shooting from the free line, with his six three-pointers also being a a career-high. Wright's 10 rebounds tied for the game-high, making it two-consecutive games with a double-double.

Other double-digit scorers for the Tigers included senior Drew Friberg who finished with 17 points, a career-high four assists, along with four rebounds. Junior Tosan Evbuomwan shot 5-for-7 from the field on route to 14 points, and tied for the game-high in assists with five, whole pulling down four rebounds. Senior Jaelin Llewellyn also added 14 points for Princeton.

As a team, the Tigers out-rebounded the Beavers 38-27, and made the most of their opportunities from the free throw line, going 20-for-23
