PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's basketball team opens Ivy League play on Saturday, December 31, at 1 p.m. inside Jadwin Gymnasium against Harvard.

Buoyed by a season-high 22 assists and 16 made three-pointers, Princeton overcame Kean, 88-70, on Friday, December 23, inside Jadwin Gymnasium.

Senior Ryan Langborg led the way with a game and career-high 23 points on 7-for-11 shooting from the field, and 5-for-9 shooting from three in 18 minutes on the court. His seven made field goals were a career-best, while his five made three-pointers tied his career-high. Senior Tosan Evbuomwan added 12 points on 5-for-6 shooting along with a game-high six assists, along with four rebounds, while junior Zach Martini, freshman Jack Scott and freshman Xaivian Lee each finished with eight points, with Martini's total tying his career-high. Lee also pulled down a game and career-high nine rebounds.

With 194 wins as a Head Coach, Mitch Henderson is seven wins away from 200 career wins. He is currently third all-time in wins at Princeton; Franklin (Cappy) Cappon is second with 250, and Pete Carril first with 514.

In the first half against Iona, Evbuomwan found Caden Pierce for the 200th assist of his career, and ended the game with 206 total in his career. Evbuomwan's 142 assists in the 2021-22 season were No. 2 all-time at Princeton, trailing only William F. Ryan's 161 assists in the 1983-84 season.

Evbuomwan has had a strong start to the 2022-23 season, ranking second on the team and eighth in the Ivy League in scoring with 12.6 points on 52.5% shooting. He also leads the team in rebounding and ranks fifth in the conference with 6.3 per game, leads the team in assists and ranks second in the Ivy League with 4.0 and is tied for first on the team in steals with ten.

With 117 made three-pointers in his career, Langborg ranks No. 18 all-time in school history for made three-pointers. This was accomplished in a shortened 2019-20 season and no 2020-21 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, 22 Tigers have exceeded 100 made three-pointers in their career. Langborg is also averaging 12.7 points per game, which leads the team and ranks eighth in the Ivy League. Additionally, Langborg's 66 made three-pointers in the 2021-22 season rank No. 13 all-time at Princeton for most made three-pointers in a season.

Kellman has provided the Tigers with a reliable presence inside in 2022-23, averaging 10.2 points on 62.1% shooting (No. 3 in the Ivy League) along with 4.7 rebounds. His 12 blocked shots also rank sixth in the Ivy League.

Allocco has taken his game to another level this season, and ranks third on the team in scoring with 9.5 points on 49.5% shooting from the field and 38.8% shooting from three, which ranks No. 5 in the Ivy League. He also ranks second on the team and tenth in the conference in rebounding with 5.5, second in assists with 34 and is tied for first in steals with ten.

The Tigers have been one of the best rebounding teams in the nation so far in 2022-23, with their 29.92 defensive rebounds per game ranking No. 5 in the nation. Senior Drew Friberg and Langborg also each scored nine points, and senior Elijah Barnes came off the bench to score eight points on 3-for-4 shooting, and grab four rebounds in nine minutes.
