| Five Princeton Men's Water Polo Facts |
• Men's water polo became Princeton's 36th sport when it was elevated to full varsity status for the 1996 season.
• Princeton has played in four NCAA Tournaments (1992, 2004, 2009, 2011). Princeton won its first tournament game in 2009 when it topped Loyola Marymount for third-place. The 2009 Championship was hosted at Princeton's DeNunzio Pool. Princeton finsished third again in 2011.
• Princeton has had four perfect CWPA seasons. Those have come in 1999 (8-0), 2001 (4-0), 2003 (4-0) and 2004 (10-0).
• In 2004 the Tigers set a program record with 25 wins in a season.
• Princeton had a final ranking of ninth in the 2004 CWPA Division I poll. It was the first time Princeton finished the season ranked inside the top 10. Princeton also received a ranking of ninth early in the 2005 season. The Tigers were ranked 10th in the final poll of the 2009 and 2011 seasons.
