| Five Princeton Women's Water Polo Facts |
• Women's water polo became Princeton's 37th sport when it was elevated to full varsity status for the 1997 season.
• The Tigers have won three CWPA Eastern Championships in program history, including consecutive titles in 2012 and 2013.
• Princeton advanced to the NCAA Championship for the first time in 2012, finishing in sixth place. The program returned to NCAAs in 2013 and earned a fifth-place finish.
• Princeton won a program-best 29 games in 2012. That same season the Tigers won the Southern Division championship, Eastern Championship and advanced to the NCAA Championship for the first time.
• The program broke into the national top-10 for the first time in early March 2000 and peaked at No. 8 at the end of the year.
